Our School

The U.S. West Coast Taekwondo Association is the largest group of professional Taekwondo schools in the western United States. Since 1988, the Association has been providing quality instruction to over 70,000 students worldwide and it all started in Gresham, Oregon!

We offer personalized instruction based on your needs. Our experienced, award-winning instructors are ready to help you reach your fullest potential. Whether you want to learn discipline, lose weight or just try something new - we can tailor a program that fits your needs and fitness level. We have classes for all ages and specialize in family instruction. Whatever your need - we are ready to serve you!

We LOVE to train total beginners, intermediate or advanced students. So whether you are trying martial arts for the first time or training hard to compete, you’ll find the perfect program for what you want to achieve right here!

Martial arts is a tool. It's something we use to improve ourselves and our lives. For a child being bullied, it's an opportunity to stand up for himself, gain confidence and pride.

For an adult lacking passion and drive, it's an opportunity to really put your heart into something - and reap the rewards of that hard work.

And for the person who wants the ability to PROTECT herself and her loved ones - it's an opportunity to add safety, confidence, and courage to her life.

The kid’s classes are designed to instill a well-rounded mixed martial arts skill set with emphasis on the values and principles that taekwondo teaches…

  • Modesty, Courtesy and Integrity
  • Self-control and Respect
  • Perseverance and Determined Spirit

Your child will learn the importance of goal setting and gain incredible self-confidence. Our goal for every student is to increase their physical and mental strength, fitness and overall development.

Martial arts teaches both kids and adults to handle mental stress more effectively – by developing a sharp mental focus and self-awareness. You’ll know what to do and how to do if real world problems such as bullying, abductions and being attacked ever happens.

The SELF-CONFIDENCE and DISCIPLINE your family will get from our programs can help them develop powerful coping strategies for dealing with and resolving confrontations of any kind.

When your child learns the Martial Arts and applies its sacred principles to their life, they acquire greater focus, follow through and longer attention spans. Their grades in school will improve and their attention to detail becomes greater.

Wow… so many POSITIVE benefits! PRICELESS benefits! And very AFFORDABLE!
